The old days bungalows, charming holiday homes built along the beach are the main source of inspiration for the architecture and decoration of the rooms at Zilwa Attitude hotel Mauritius. The 214 rooms, have a rustic atmosphere and a contemporary charm. There are 3 main categories of rooms, Superior, Family and Couple.
The superior rooms are situated in one or two storey traditional bungalows with thatched roofs. They can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. Family rooms can sleep 4. Deluxe family rooms can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 teenagers and 1 child under 12. There are 3 categories of Couples Rooms, Deluxe rooms, Junior Suite, Privilege Suite.
The Deluxe rooms are spacious with a sea view. The Junior Suites have a lounge area, and a furnished terrace. The Privilege Suite has a Jacuzzi on the terrace and offers a breath-taking view on the lagoon and the Northern islands.

Restaurants and Bars
Zilwa Attitude hotel Mauritius with its 6 restaurants offers a blend of spicy and exquisite tastes from all over the world. Its called here in Mauritius “Metisaz” a delicious mixed of Creole, Indian, Asian and European cuisines, true to the cultural diversity of the island. Karay is the main restaurant, with 3 dining areas that are opened on to the beautiful infinity pool, a wooden deck, or over looking the beach. For breakfast you can enjoy croissants, sweet bread, buns and brioches as well as Mauritian delicacies and exotic fruits. At dinner you can taste the various buffets with a different theme for each evening of the week, and enjoy the Asian, Indian and Mauritian cuisine.
The 2 restaurants Saté and Siaw, are where live cooking takes place, offering exclusively Asian cuisine. At Saté enjoy Indonesian specialities and at Siaw enjoy Chinese food. Lor Disab the Creole word for “right on the beach” welcomes you in a relaxed atmosphere, eat with your feet buried in the sand. At lunch time a quick and light menu is available: sandwiches, salads as well as some typical Mauritian dishes, among which our famous upside down rice bowl and its tomato chutney. In the evening, the restaurant caters for guests over 16 and offers a wide choice of dishes, all with a local touch. Taba-J is a snack bar, here you can eat, traditional Mauritian pancakes filled with curries, pickle or chutneys or the more traditional sandwich and Panini. Take a trip to the island of Gran Zil, where you are Robinson Crusoe. You are guaranteed exotic surroundings and a peaceful environment. At lunch time, sip your drink in the sea and savour a delicious barbecue.
Siro Kann is the Creole word for the sugar cane juice widely used in the exotic cocktails. This is the main bar and lounge. An expert barmen will prepare a variety of homemade rum based cocktails, flavoured with pineapple, lychee and coconut. Don’t miss out on a home-made rum workshops at this bar. Lor Disab bar, is designed as a pirogue, sails blowing in the wind. Sit comfortably in sofas or bean bags and enjoy the serenity of nature between sea and sky. Over 16’s only in the evening.
Activities
Zilwa Attitude hotel Mauritius offers plenty of activities both on land and at sea. Go out in the glass bottomed boat, try Kayak, pedalo, stand up paddle, laser boat, snorkeling, wind-surfing, water polo, aqua gym, beach volley ball, table-tennis, tennis, mini football, pool, or you can hire a bike and get out and explore the area. If you enjoy canoeing, pedal boat or stand up paddle the you can explore the numerous creeks, whilst those who prefer sailing will be delighted by a memorable day or a sunset trip on a catamaran.
For a fee you can use the PADI diving centre (PADI, SSI, CMAS and Nitrox) try kite-surfing, take a catamaran cruise, or go out big game fishing.
There is also a range of excursions for you to including a visit to the market or to a typical Mauritian village, an interesting cultural and shopping experience.




Kids Club
The Mini Club for kids is located on a boat situated right at the entrance of the hotel. Under the supervision of experienced and caring staff, children between the age of 3 and 12, are kept entertained, having fun and being creative. Among many other activities are colouring, glass bottom boat trips, treasure hunt, occasional shows, games in and out of the swimming pool and even fun days with a special theme for the day.
As an extra your children can take their meals at the restaurant with one of the Mini Club Members, allowing you a romantic evening together. The Zilwa Attitude hotel Mauritius also offers a day and evening baby-sitting service upon request.
