All of the 81 rooms at Veranda Paul and Virginie Hotel Mauritius are bright and airy and all of the rooms face towards the sea. The décor combines local wood and wrought iron, and is designed around natural colours. Comfort rooms have good views of the beach and lagoon and have a queen sized bed. Superior rooms are slightly larger and also have a queen sized bed. The Privilege rooms are larger still, with a King sized bed.

Le Saint Géran is the beach restaurant, it perches on the end of a jetty like the prow of a boat. In a typical circular structure known as a rondavelle. Here you will delight in a menu which does full honours to the sea. The Poudre d’Or bar is where the fun loving crowd gathers. Throughout the day there are guests sipping cocktails by the pool, or drinking coffee pressed up against the counter, or enjoying an after dinner drink relaxing in the large comfortable chairs.
Activities
If you love the water, then Veranda Paul and Virginie Hotel Mauritius is the place to be, with the vast lagoon of Grand Gaube opening up endless possibilities. Fanned by warm breezes characteristic of this part of the island, you will love any boat trip you make, be it in a glass bottom boat, a small sailing dinghy, pedal boat or kayaking. You can also go wind surfing or snorkeling.
For a charge you can dive (There is a PADI dive centre, 10 minutes walk from the hotel ), water ski or go fishing. Other activities at the resort include tennis, or aqua gym. If you are a golfer, you also get access to the Heritage Golf Club in the south of the island.



Seaplane Trip
How about taking to the skies above the lagoon and hills? Right in front of the hotel a seaplane will pick you up. You will have the time of your life, an experience reserved for guests of the Veranda Paul and Virginie Hotel Mauritius. You take off and make a sea landing in the lagoon itself. Mauritius seen from the air is spectacular. You need to experience and photograph this as words cannot do it justice. If that’s not excitement enough, and if you are feeling adventurous, Skydive Austral in Riviēre du Rempart will take you to 3000 metres and allow you to make a parachute jump in tandem.
