The Quatres Bornes market takes place every day, Mondays to Saturdays from 6.00am to 6.00pm. Sundays from 6.00am until noon. You will find the market in the town Quatre Bornes, right in front of the bus station. It is undercover and you will see the sign above the entrance. The market is mainly for the locals and so you will not find many tourists there, but this is what makes a visit to this Market so special.
On Sundays and Thursdays you will find the textiles market here, selling items such as traditional Indian clothes, sports wear or underwear. There are a lot of clothes for sale on almost every stall, plus blankets, table cloths, shoes, bags and trinkets. Have fun finding everything you need. You can also find kitchen items, sunglasses, carpets, make-up and souvenir stands.
Wednesdays and Saturdays are for the food market. This is where to find some fresh local food ingredients and mouthwatering fruit and veg. If you want to try local foods then head to the food court. This is open from Mondays to Sundays.
